Ireland is a member of the EU. There are 182 different languages spoken in Ireland. In our school, we have girls from 27 different nationalities. There are 29 languages in total spoken by our girls. We have 89 girls who speak other languages, apart from English, at home!
To celebrate this important day, the girls were asked to shake hands with the person beside them and wish one another a 'Happy European Day of Languages.'
