Last Friday, we made chocolate chip cookies in our class. We had great fun making them. They were delicious!!
Ingredients:
75g butter
75g caster sugar
75g soft light brown sugar
1 medium egg
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
175g plain flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
100g milk chocolate chips
- Put the brown and white sugar in a bowl with the softened butter and mix them.
- Crack the egg into a mug and add a teaspoon of vanilla essence and beat.
- Pour a little bit of the egg mixture into the sugar mixture and whisk. Repeat this until it is gone.
- Add the flour and baking powder and stir until combined.
- Next, sprinkle in half of the chocolate chips and mix.
- Take a heaped teaspoon of the mixture and put it on the tray.
- Flatten the cookie and place the chocolate chips on top of them.
- Put them in the oven for 10 minutes at 190 degrees.
- Eat and enjoy!
