Last Thursday Ms Treanor's 5th Class and Ms McArdle's Sixth Class took part in an in-house soccer blitz. The four teams were Ireland, Spain, Portugal and France. The girls all had a lot of fun and got a chance to participate in team sports. They scored some brilliant goals and made saves too. There were even some penalties! They showed determination and demonstrated brilliant team work. This blitz was in preparation for the FAI Primary School 5s competition which we will participate in in DKIT next week. Huge thanks to Diarmuid, our caretaker, who helped with refereeing and coaching the teams on the day!
