We celebrated International Mother Language Day on Tuesday the 21st of February. This day celebrates all the different languages spoken in the world. We have lots of girls in our school who speak many languages.
We did some nice activities to celebrate this important day. In our classrooms, we discussed the many languages spoken by our girls. Some girls even taught their classmates other languages! 🗨 ✔️
Junior Infants to 2nd Class listened to language stories and sang songs. 3rd Class to 6th Class listened to other languages being spoken and played a language game online. All our girls coloured in an 'International Mother Language Day ' picture to help promote cultural diversity in our school. 🎶 🎨
