This week we celebrated our KiVa anti-bullying week. Every day the student council organised fun activities to promote friendship and kindness in our school.
On Monday we organised a slogan competition. Each class created anti- bullying slogans. We had some excellent entries. The student council have made posters of the slogans and they will be displayed throughout the school.
On Tuesday we hosted a show and tell event in each class. Every child brought in a personal item which reflected their personalities. Each child shared the item with the class.
On Wednesday we carried out random acts of kindness throughout the day.
On Thursday, the student council read a story with a message about anti-bullying to each class. Each class also had the opportunity to play a friendship bingo game and create a friendship handprint.
Crazy head day took place on Friday. Each child came to school with crazy hair and decorated hijabs. We also watched a movie with the theme of friendship.
