Today we explored our school yard and surrounding areas to see what materials we could find. We found so many natural materials, for example, grass, leaves, feathers, stones, flowers, soil and many more. Next, we observed the properties of each object. We noticed if they were hard, soft, shiny, smooth, rough, the colour of texture of them and how crumbly they are. It was very interesting and it was a great experience to investigate and discover nature on our doorstep!
