It’s Maths week! Junior Infants got off to a flying start this week when we took our Maths stations outside.We hunted for shapes all around the school, made patterns with natural materials, practiced writing our numbers using chalk and sorted Autumn materials into groups.
You can join the Maths fun at home too by hunting for numbers/shapes in the environment. Talking about who is tallest/shortest in your house or who has the longest/shortest hair and of course lots and lots of counting! Count anything and everything- fingers/teddies/ knives and forks!
