During Maths week, our class took part in Fraction stations. We moved around our classroom and each table had a different fraction activity to support our learning of halves and quarters. We cut up straws and ribbons, divided shapes, used Playdough and drew examples to show halves and quarters. This will help us to realise that fractions are equal parts of a whole shape.
