More science week fun
21st Nov 2022
1) We were inspired by Ms. Treanor and wanted to give the balloon experiment a go ourselves. We made predictions on if/how many people the balloons could hold. We learned that the equal distribution of weight is important as well as allowing the balloon space to expand. We managed to get 6 people on the table before we heard some pops & then even got one more person on despite having lost some balloons! Would you have thought it would hold us all?
2) We also made some lava lamps using oil, water, food colouring and Alka seltzer and loved watching the bubbles rise.
