We hosted our multi-cultural/diverse book tasting event in February. Each class were invited to our 'Insomnia Café' book tasting event which we held in our Parent's Room in our school. Kinda from the Schools of Sanctuary programme attended also.
The girls were given the opportunity to sample
multi-cultural and diverse books. The girls wrote about the key messages from their book. The girls read books which discuss important themes such as the lives of refugees, migration, race and books about being unique and different. The girls shared the key messages from their books with their class. We had a great day.
