Schools of Sanctuary Journey
We have begun our journey to become a School of Sanctuary. We are currently a member school in the Schools of Sanctuary Programme. This means that we are a school that welcomes and celebrates all cultures. All our girls and staff members have signed a pledge to say that we are all taking part. We are working to become a champion school.
During the school year, we will do many activities to learn about acceptance and offering refuge. The three main Principles of Sanctuary are to learn, to act on what you have learnt and to share what you have learnt.
When we become a champion school, we will be invited to an awards ceremony. We will be awarded a lovely plaque to hang on the wall. We are very excited about our journey to become a School of Sanctuary.
