We learned lots about St. Brigid recently. We learned about her story and why we celebrate her. We sang along to Brigid brings the spring. We were also lucky enough to be invited to the library to do a 'go fly your kite' workshop where we discussed Brigid and created beautiful kites. We walked through the square and got to see the beautiful lights, art and shop windows that were erected in her honour. The workshop was a great opportunity to explore STEAM. Mrs. McArdle's 6th class very kindly helped us create some St. Brigid's crosses too!
