On St. Brigid’s Day, 3rd class visited the museum to design kites. Firstly, we heard all about the story of St. Brigid and how she built churches and convents in Kildare. We also listened to the story of how her cloak spread and grew so that the king would give her the land. After that, we moved upstairs to design our kites. We drew St. Brigid crosses and added our own words and designs. To finish the trip, we walked by the square to see the Northern Lights which were very impressive. What a great experience!
