The girls in 4th class recently read a story called 'A New Life for Leila.' This story is about a refugee who had to flee the war in Syria. The girl Leila moved from Syria to Turkey and then to Ireland. Leila talks about what her life was like as a refugee fleeing from Syria. She talks about learning new languages- English and Irish! She also tells us about her new life in Ireland. The girls really enjoyed this positive story.
