We have been working on subtraction with renaming using lots of different strategies including stretch it out subtraction and using our dienes blocks to explore where we borrow from. We have also been practicing the following poem: More on top, no need to stop. More on the floor, go next door and borrow 10 more. Numbers the same? Zero is the game.
