Warm Colours 🍂
7th Oct 2024
We’ve been continuing our learning about colours in art recently.
We learned the difference between warm and cool colours. Warm colours are red, orange, yellow and brown and they are usually used for colouring in warm objects like the sun or fire. Cool colours are colours like blue, green and purple, and these are used for things like trees, nature and water.
We learned that in Autumn, the leaves on the trees all turn warm colours, so we created our own Autumn trees by finger painting. 🍁
