This week is World Refugee Week. Tuesday the 20th of June is known globally as World Refugee Day. In our school, our classes from Junior Infants to 2nd Class listened to stories and songs from other countries. 3rd to 6th Class girls learned about the Refugee Olympic Team members. The girls read about famous sports stars who were refugees also. 4th Class took part in a Zoom Quiz organised by Schools of Sanctuary. They really enjoyed the quiz.
